I want my iphone 4 to verbally tell me who is calling or texting, how do i change my settings to allow this to happen? I tried going to the accessability and voice over and also the speak selection but it isnt changing the setting, how do i do this?

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.1

I don't think there is any way of doing this. Having just tried several settings myself, I could not find a way of doing anything like what you're looking for.


Only other way I could think is if you were to make a custom ringtone through something like Garageband on your Mac, and just speak who's calling, then add in some music from the Library or something. You can follow Garagebands build in documentation on how to do this.
