The lightning port on my iPhone 5 when plugging it in to charge/sync it will not snap in like it should...on my daughters it does, but not on mine...thought the data/charging cord lighting end was upside down...but I discovered it didn't matter which way you plug it in... I guess there must be a problem with the port on my phone.

I have a similar issue where the connection drops with the slightest touch. I have an appt at the apple store tomorrow and will update you on how they fix it.

EASY fix.. take a toothpick, or paperclip, and clean out all the compressed dust and lint in the connector. You'll be surprised how much is in there!
