error message Not enough storage and screen is locked

The screen is frozen with the error message " This Ipad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available".


I cannot do anything now - everything is frozen. What do I do to fix this?

You can try resetting your iPad. This is done by holding both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. At this point, you can release the buttons and wait for the iPad to reboot.
