I just recently got the new iPod Touch 5th gen, but it hasn't got Siri installed. When I hold down the home button it goes to voice control. How do I get or turn on Siri? Also when I plug my charger in it the sound goes funny and crackly is that normal, if not, what should I do?

Check your settings to see if there's an option for Siri; make sure she's enabled. You could of accidently not enabled her when you first set up your Ipod. Regarding the sound issue, I would take it into your local apple store, (remember to make an appointment); it should not be making any type of crackling noise ever.
Siri is off by default. To turn on go to Settings>General>Safari.
For the crackling try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
