adobe website doesn't load

I've had this problem for a while now, but whenever I try to access the Adobe website (www.adobe.com), my MacBook Pro won't load the website. I've tried to load it on Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome and none of the browsers load the website.

On Safari I get this message: "Safari cannot connect to the server. Safari cannot open the webpage "http://www.adobe.com" because Safari cannot connect to the server "www.adobe.com"

Yes, I am connected to the Internet, that is not the issue.

I want to purchase Lightroom Pro, and don't want to pay $150 from the App Store when it's $80 for students on Adobe. Does anyone know how to fix this?
