NO Service

Hello,

I just reseted mu iphone4 to its factory settings and am having difficulty in getting the reception of the local network. I tried switiching it off and on several times but still it gives my the NO SERVICE message at the to left hand corner where the network name was suppoed to be. I did purchase a new sim and tried but I keep on getting the same result.

Anyone has any idea and is willing to assist me. I just don't know what to do.
