Can't start my ipod touch.

This happened befored when I stopped using it for 3 months without turning it off. It wouldn't start and the battery wouldn't recharge. Eventually I found an iphone charger and it worked to wake up the battery. And it worked fine until I stopped using it again. This time of course, I dutifully turned it off in fear that the old problem may find me again. 1 month or so later this happened. It won't start. And nothing will get the battery start recharging. Please help and share your wisdom, masters!

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
