Iset up an icloud email account but the instructions say that It needs to be 10.75 or higher. does that mean I cannot have an Icloud Email account?

You can use the iCloud mail address, but you can't use the rest of the iCloud services.
The settings provided in the above link are not correct (incoming/outgoing servers). You can use that article for the 'method' of doing it, but get the correct settings here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864

I set up an email account with icloud. the directions say that the version needs to be 10.75 or greater. Mine is 10.68, does that mean the icloud account will not work with my version?
