I have recently recieved a new phone because i broke my last one, i cant retrieve my backup due to the name of phone being different , how do i retrieve my backup?

My iphone 4s was broken so i had it sent out and i had recieved a new one, but i couldn't recieve my backup from the cloud or itunes. I signed in but its treating my phone as a seperate account. i can see my backups but cant put them on new phone. it has a new name that doesnt match my original Itunes, how do i download original info from icloud? the account isnt showing any of my downloaded apps, even the ones i paid for.
