Printer takes FOREVER TO PRINT

Since upgrading to Snow Leopard, my printing has slowed down to around 25 mph; whereas before I was printing around 100 mph; metamorphically speaking.

Is this a Snow Leopard Problem? Because I didnt have this problem with Leopard.

I am printing from a Pro Mac to an HP 5100nt.

thanks

try going to system preferences>print, delete any jobs in the print queue. Make sure you have the latest drivers. Highlight the printer and click the minus button, click the plus button and re-add the printer. Hope this helps.

Some HP printers are slow anyway. And I notice your profile suggests you are not as up to date as you might be.

Update your OS to Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 then software update.

If the situation persists, go to the HP site and follow their path to apply the latest drivers to your system.

But as I said, HP can be slow anyway.
