Jan 8, 2013 11:21 AM in response to mmdomby KiltedTim,In order to complete the unlock process, you needed to perform a restore and should have gotten the "Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked" message. Did you do that?
If you've been backing it up on a regular basis, you shouldn't lose anything at all.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5014
I guess I'm just a bit worried that because I have 2 iphones I'll either:
- Not be able to load my data back onto my old iphone
- Mess up the data on my new iphone5

Jan 8, 2013 11:56 AM in response to mmdomby KiltedTim,Why is that a concern? Have you not been syncing them on a regular basis? Did you restore the 5 from a backup of the 3G, then continue using the 3G?

Jan 8, 2013 12:02 PM in response to KiltedTimby mmdom,Dunno, paranoia?
If I told you how I got to the position I'm in needing to check if my iphone 3G is unlocked you would certainly understand why I'm nervous about these things!!
