printing from new printer and gmail

I just installed a new Canon MG5320 Pixma printer this weekend and have a problem printing from my gmail.com account. Canon says it is not a printer problem - it is an Apple problem. It will print from a website but when I want to print an email from my actual gmail.com screen, it will only print the far left side of the screen which is my files that are in alphabetical order. Please help me if you can. . .
