I can't activate FaceTime on my iPad.

I can't activate FaceTime on my iPad. Keep getting activation error "your user name/password is incorrect" even though both are correct and I'm using them to login to iTune and this support community even after i reset it to check!!

The iPad iOS is 6.0.1 and I'm in Canada so no country/region restriction. I've checked the date and time settings as mentioned on some support pages and restarted my iPad but still nothing.

I never used FaceTime before so all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Ismail,

No I didn't find a solution unfortunately. I had revised all the links that was listed by Tom (Texas Mac Man) but it didn’t work. I ended up creating a new apple ID just for FaceTime! After which it worked fine.

I had the same problem for a long time,i did all the possible solution but didn't work,i noticed that i just need to update the date lol i always change the date because of candy crush and i realized that it's deactivating my facetime automatically for some reason and i was lazy to put the correct date then i realized that it's because of that :D now i can use again my facetime on ipad2.
