I have my kids' iPods, my iPhone & my iPad all on one account and same apple id. I want to remove one iPod. How do I do this??

I have my kids' iPods, my iPhone and my iPad all under the same account and username. I now am having problems with one iPod and I want to delete all of it's content and settings but don't want the other ipod or iphone or iPad to lose their content. How do I remove this one iPod???
