Can't send emails from hotmail account?

Have been able to up to couple of days ago, but now get error message saying username or password invalid. Have tried updating password, switching phone off etc. Can receive emails ok, just can not send. 1st time it did it I just re-entered password & all ok but now it won't work at all 😟
