why do Apple's i-Apps have to have different user-interfaces on Apple's devices ?

Hi,

I use iCal (and others) professionnaly on 3 Apple devices : iPhone, iPad and MacBookPro.

All of those devices are about 1 1/2 years old, meaning they should be able to "work together"!

Latest software updates : positive.

Why does the iCloud sync not work as set in settings? (between iPad andiPhone it's +/- ok;

not so with the MacBookPro. And I can't find out why ... ?

And

why are there 3 different UIs for one App ?

Sure, there are different possibilities on those devioces.

But the main functionality should be "dressed" into the same "look & feel", No?

Thanks for any help.
