I can get the music into my iTunes library on the PC but when I hit SYNC none of it is transferred to my iPod. Help?!
iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.0.2
Maybe worth checking that the music has a marked as checked setting.
Right click on song And at the bottom of the Popup windo should be a Check Selectiom option. If it is already set it should be Uncheck Selection
iTunes wil not sync unchecked items
All songs have a tick next to them.
How are you syncing? Just clutching at straws here...
Click on 'my device' then hit SYNC in bottom right hand corner of screen.
Also tried right-click > SYNC.
Ok that, the right way. Did you try adding to a playlist first and then synching that. Or drag and droping the tunes onto your device in the left hansidebar?
I've tried neither. I'm very new to this.
I just put a tick in a box that asked if I wanted to sync the entire music library, and I think its doing it!
Ok if the left hand sidebar is not showing on your computer
Ctrl B to show the top menu
Then View > Show Sidebar.
In the left hand panel you should now see your ipod under devices.
Clicjk on this and from the right hand page choose Music from the top navigation options. Select whatever you want from the playlist , Albums, Artists etc
Click apply at the bottom. Has anything sync'd over to your iPod
All I'm getting now is 'waiting for sync to start' >>>>>>>>
At least it is starting the sync process. Give it sometime, Grab a coffee

You may need to restore your ipod touch. Sounds as though something is misaligned

I've lost the apps I had on my iPod but I've also got all my music on there.
