Anyone else experiencing flicker while previewing a video using Mac OSX 10.8.2?

Oddly, I've just noticed this previewing some video using Quick Look in the Finder and have been fiddling with encoding settings.
Tried the same clip in Quicktime X and some other apps and it seems ok. Weird.

To clarify this flicker is like a random dark frame affecting the video, not the whole display.

Agree with Alley Cat about the random black frame. Also my videos are encoded h.264 FWIW.

FYI this is still happening with 10.8.4 here in August 2013 (10.8.5 should be out soon). I'm on a 2012 27" iMac with the Nvidia GTX 680MX. Fairly confident it's a software problem. Was weary of it being a hardware problem after having been through 2 exchanges of this iMac already.
The flickering happens randomly and seemingly only when previewing. Don't know if video format plays a role because all of my videos are h.264 encoded.
Same problem here. OSX 10.8.4. Late-2012 iMac with GTX 680MX upgrade. Not limited to QuickLook previews for me. Also affects Quicktime Player and VLC. About 10% of the time, MP4 videos will show brightness flickering during playback. Sometimes, just closing the video and re-opening it will resolve the problem. Driver issue maybe?
Same here. Running Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and noticed this flickering in Quick Look preview (not in Quicktime). Changed video card to Nvidia GTX 660 and problem persists. It's kind of annoying. Not any solution yet?

I'm glad I found this thread, I spent hours re-encoding videos thinking that was where the problem was. Apple needs to get this fixed
