course dropped by Apple due to materials

I just received an email notification stating one of our school's courses was dropped from public view due to items dropped from the iTunes Store remaining in the course materials list (email says something like less than 75% of course materials are available, therefore course will remain hidden from public view) - anyone know what this is about? is this new or have you experienced this?
