i have forgot my password on my ipad and it wont let me on it but iv tryed to sort it out on my laptop but it wont let me as iv never used my ipad on this laptop before so how doi get onto it?

Ino it is i didnt know how to change it and i tryed that but it didnt work
You put it in recovery mode and it didn't work?
