How to get newest Skype version

I cannot seem to upgrade my Skype version ..... A 5 is minimum in order to be part of another's 3- way group,.... Can someone send me a link or explain how to create menu bars up top to access the ability to upgrade to the newest version of Skype !!!! . Pretty much i cant create menu bars for everything - thank
