Q: Distortion Filter & Four Corner Applied to Text Sequence?

im working in Motion 4, looking for a solution to using distortion filters to text.

flattening the text allows me to get the four corner perspective stretch i want, but if i apply a filter it crops the text.

if i use Perspective Transform in filter Image Units the text goes somewhere beyond the crop & disappears.

is there anyway to completely eleminate the constrains of that box that crops the text?

layout method is set to Type.

the text i want to work with.

if the text is flattened, the distortion effect gets cropped.

if the text isnt flat, the effect will go beyond this box that appears.

flatten text checked, four corner applied, distortion applied, content is cropped.

not flattened, using Perpsective Transform from filter image units to mimic four corner, but text goes somewhere beyond the crop.

why does motion crop the text in this box?

anyway to enlarge this area so i can combine these filters and parameters?

can anyone explain why image unit filters always change position of my content?
