connecting Iphone to airport extreme, connecting Iphone to airport extreme

Hi I purchase a new airport extreme and want to be able to connect my iphone/pad computers via wifi.

Even though it says they are connected (displays full bars) they are not, (will not connect to web pages etc). Not sure what to do?

I have reset and restarted my machines and the airport express serveral time with no luck?

My mac is the same way, it can only connect when plugged in with the lan wire. Any suggestions?
