Q: why do some of my iTunes songs cut off after about 1 min. or so??

Why do some of my iTunes songs cut off after about 1 min. or so?? Also, if I have burned one of those particular songs to a CD, when it gets to that song,it  it just cuts off - why?

How do i remedy this?

iPod shuffle (4th generation), Windows XP
