Can I stop "restoring"I started to restore ipad, thinking this was just going to restore settings... but I haven't backed it up, so I want to stop restoring before I loose everything on it?

Stop Restoring? I started Restore in settings, thinking I was just restoring settings to default... but this starting restoring entire Ipad.

my daughters Ipad has not been backed up or synced, so am I just stuck loosing everything, or can I stop restore process & go back?

I have not completed restore, but it won't let me "back" out of process once started? Help.
