itunes match playlist

I recently turned off the itunes match on my iphone (big mistake) now when I re-activate the itunes match the play the playlist that i have in the itunes match account do not show up on the phone. I have tried to delete the music from the usage menu, turn off and on several times and still no playlist. Does anyone have a solution to making this work? Iphone5 IOS 6.0.1.

Yep I think there is definetely an issue. Whilst I don't use match on my phone I am having problems on my spple TV with it. Noticed it yesterday evening, match still plays songs etc but all my playlists are gone and all album/cover art is missing. The other annoyance being my iPad remote app wont connect as a result (unless I turn match off from Apple TV). Rebooting devices or Apple TV does not help not does turning match off and on. So am pretty sure this is yet another issue at apples end.

Having the same problem here since at least yesterday.

iTunes match is not downloading either Artwork or Playlists from the cloud.

I've called AppleCare, but they basically said there was no reported outage so there was nothing they could do beyond the basic trouble shooting (Match on/off, restart TV, reset TV) that I had already done.

Anyone else having similar issues or found workaround?

I find that a disgraceful response from AppleCare. Quite clearly there is an outage - we are all reporting it. To be so dismissive as to say that they can't do anything is quite appauling and basically symbolic of the way Apple is going. Bug ridden software all over the shop. I have managed to get a name at apple to email and am forwarding all these forum links on in the hope something will be done.

I've had several problems with iTunes Match since "upgrading" my iPhone 4S to IOS6; this is just the latest. Like you others, my playlists have disappeared from my phone.

Previously I have solved persistent freeze problems by deselecting iTunes Match in Settings, then reselecting it, which reboots the entire library. Until now, this has never touched the music present on the phone - but this morning it erased the whole lot. Wonderful. No playlists and no music!

I assume this is a bug they will fix...

It's a pity because iTunes Match is a product I enjoy using, but I must say I'm getting sick of my phone freezing once a day and this is the final straw.

AHHHHHHHH, guys, am I glad I found this discussion as I thought I was the only one.

I have tried everything, switching iTunes Match on and off, logging in and out, removing all music from cloud and uploading it again. removing all authorized devises from my account setting, restoring my iphone.

I have tried everything and still nothing.

Just wanted to make sure...

With iTunes Match enabled on an iOS device directly syncing with iTunes via USB or Wi Fi is no longer supported. All music is managed directly on the iDevice. Also, some criteria for Smart Playlists such as last played dates, play counts or limiting the playlist to X number of items are not supported by iTunes Match. For the time being it is not possible to use your playlist as you have been with iTM.
