My Ipod, it is A1288, it is a 2nd gen. can I used/download the Nimbuzz or skype massanger?

A second gen iPod Touch only supports up to iOS 4.2.1 - the Skype app appears to require iOS 4.3+, as does Nimbuzz. So no, you won't be able to download or install them on your iPod
