TB Display not working- suggestions?

Thunderbolt Display with 2011 MBA running OS X 10.8.2 in clamshell.

The monitor is not working. It has been working fine for the past year. When I last woke it from sleep, I got an image for 1s then it went black and hasn't returned.

It is registering as 'Connected' on my System Information. The USB peripherals attached to the display are working, and the magsafe power connector is working.

I have tried:

  • Disconnecting everything and restarting
  • Restarting and resetting the PRAM
  • Setting the 'Automatic Adjust Brightness' to off

Anything else I should try? Is this a cable issue?

Thunderbolt Display (27-inch), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

When you say that you disconnected everything, did you disconnect the display from the power source, leaving it off for about five minutes? If you haven't tried that, do. If still no joy then it's time to take the display to your local Apple Store.

Good luck,

Clinton
