'LOGIC' d.a.w program/mac book pro question
Is it possible to buy 'LOGIC' d.a.w program with a mac book pro, and if so, how is this accomplished?

You can buy Logic Pro 9 from the Mac App Store. Check here to make sure that your MBP has the minimum system requirements.
Good luck,

Logic Pro, a high end digital audio workstation program?
Sure, just make sure your Mac is running Snow Leopard or a more recent cat, got lots of memory, and have a fat wallet standing by. Mosey over to the App Store, type Logic Pro on the search box, sign in, pay, download, enjoy.
Thank you for your response. The MBP I am looking to buy is the 13" 2.9 Ghz with 1 tb drive. Would prefer it was a quad core i7, but I presume that the dual i7 will drive logic fine.
Yeah, you can jam with that machine!
Good luck,

I am hoping to buy logic with the MBP to minimise messing around and multiple purchasing. I am presuming from the given responses that I cannot buy it with the machine and have to get it separately?
Yep, once you boot up your machine and set up your Apple ID, just go directly to the App Store (under the Apple menu), search for "logic pro" and click on the price and then "Buy". It will be automatically downloaded and installed.
Just gotta love the App Store...
Good luck with your new machine and Logic Pro!

Ok. Not the news that I was hoping to hear, but now I have a greater apreciation for what I need to do to get Logic.
Thanks for your help with both my questions. 🙂
No problem - Apple just doesn't 'pre-install' much any longer...
I really think that you'll be very happy with both the machine you've chosen and with Logic Pro.
Best of luck,
Clinton
