Is there an airplay keyboard shortcut on my MacBook Pro?
MY screen went out on my MacBook Pro, just wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut for AirPlay/Apple TV so I can see what I'm doing.
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

I'm sorry, but there's no shortcut to use AirPlay Mirroring. What happens to the display?
Well, my son spilled soda on my MacBook, the computer itself seems to start up properly but the monitor is not working. I have an aftermarket warranty and they are sending me a check to fully replace the laptop but I was hoping the was a way to retreave what was on the hard drive. I thought if I could display it on my Apple TV I could hook up a portable hard drive and download everything.
If you get your machine replaced, KEEP your old machine (or have the techs do this) and remove the hard drive and put it into an enclosure OR startup your old machine in Target Disk Mode and transfer what you need from the old hard drive.
Call back when you get to that point.

I do get to keep my old machine, I'm looking at it now. If I remove the hard drive, how do I get the info off of it?
Purchase an enclosure for your old drive from OWC - the ones I've purchased have been between $17-20 (I've just purchased the USB only enclosures - not the ones with multiple interfaces). You can put your old hard drive in the enclosure and use Migration Assistant to copy over all of your files, user settings, etc.
Should be a pretty simple process...
