How to share books between iPhone and iPad

Hi,

Could someone give me instructions on how to share the books in my iPhone to my iPad, possibly via WIFI and without connecting the iPad to iTunes.

With music I did it, but not with books. The funny thing is that since the iPad iBooks display the titles of the collections (eg Technical, Novel, etc.), but do not show any books in them.

If they are iboooks that were bought from Apple then you should be able to re-download them on the other device via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app. If they are no longer in the store then you will need to copy them from the iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Devices on iTunes 11) and then sync them to your iPad.

Syncing collections only keeps the collections in-line between the devices, it won't copy the actual books and/or PDFs between them i.e. if you move a book into a collection on your iPhone, then if that book is also on your iPad then it will be moved into that collection on the iPad
