Itunes match has not uploaded one piece of album artwork since I turned it on last night. I have tried everything, turning it off, rebooting the ipad, still getting nothing. Not one piece of artwork, this is very frustrating. This is probably on Apple's end. Why can't they get this working right? It was working pretty smoothly.

    Having the same problem here since at least yesterday.


    iTunes match is not downloading either Artwork or Playlists from the cloud.


    I've called AppleCare, but they basically said there was no reported outage so there was nothing they could do beyond the basic trouble shooting (Match on/off, restart TV, reset TV) that I had already done.


    Anyone else having similar issues or found workaround?

    I find that a disgraceful response from AppleCare. Quite clearly there is an outage - we are all reporting it. To be so dismissive as to say that they can't do anything is quite appauling and basically symbolic of the way Apple is going. Bug ridden software all over the shop. I have managed to get a name at apple to email and am forwarding all these forum links on in the hope something will be done.

    At least I know I am not the only one with this problem. Pretty terrible that they won't admit to a problem, it is quite obvious that the system they use for Match is not all that great. It has problems from the beginning and just when I thought they had it going this crap happens. Pretty frustrating. I have never had trouble with Amazon's music cloud.

    Yup, same here. As of last night, iTunes Match is not working properly on my iOS devices, but it is kinda working on my Macs. Albumt artwork does transfer but playlist don't update in almost-realtime as they used to.


    I've disabled iTunes Match from my iPad and iPhone for the time being and went old-school.

    I'm also glad to see that it's not just me. I was trying to fix some other problems with iTunes Match and this has caused me to take a step backward. Very frustrating. I'm kind of new to Apple products and had always perceived them to be of a higher quality. Now I know that they are just as bug ridden as others.

    Same issue here; ripped a CD last night and the album artwork showed up immediately in iTunes 11 on the Mac but nowhere else. So today I disabled and re-enabled iTunes Match on my Apple TV and iPad to try and resolve the one missing album art - now I have NO album art for ANY album. There's obviously an issue on Apple's end, but how long before they fix it, or even realize its broken?

    Same here. Pc's with itunes match running work fine but iphone, ipad and apple tv have no artwork.

    Just ripped 5 CD's and wouldn't you know it, no album art!

    I am having the same problem  Some artwork is on the phone but some is not ever since last night.  Tried EVERYTHING and I am ****** off.

    FYI - I called AppleCare today. My call was escalated to a "specialist". (I'm not sure what his official title was.) We tried a few things but were not able to resolve the problem. I mentioned this thread and he was aware of it but claimed that the problem was not system wide but more account specific. Anyway, he said that he is going to investigate further and confer with a software engineer. He promissed to follow up with me. He seemed like he was really trying to help. He gave me his direct phone extention and his direct e-mail address. I doubt that I will hear back from him until sometime next week. If he doesn't get back to me by the latter part of next week I will definitely call him to see what is going on. I'll post any info here as it becomes available. In the mean time, if anyone else has additional info to share, please post.

    Same here. No Artwork for for new albums added this week on my iPad, iPhone or Apple TV. I turned iTunes Match on and off on my Apple TV and now is has no album art at all. Clearly Apple are having problems somewhere.

    YUP, can confirm the problems... artwork and also playlists are not syncing to iOS devices! Come on Apple, spend some billions for your backbone... all your syncing services are a catastrophe!

    I got mine to working, finally, by toggling iTunes Match off and back on on my Mac. It reprocessed my 6,061 songs, and when I turned iTunes Match back on on my iPad, my playlists were back. (I turned everything off and wiped my music on my iPad first, just to start with a clean slate.)


    My album art is reloading too.

    Interesting. Trying that now. I've switched Match of on everything else first then the laptop last. When I turned it back on it asked if I wanted to 'add this laptop' and its going through my songs now. Here's hoping it works for me too
