If you purchase a Sprint-model iPhone 5 in the US, you would need to have service with Sprint before they would unlock the iPhone for use with carriers in other countries. If you do have such service, contact Sprint and ask to get the iPhone unlocked. If you do not have service with Sprint, you cannot use the iPhone with any other carrier. In that case return the iPhone to whomever you purchased it from or sell it to someone in the US.

Let me try to make it clear;

- Since you don't know what we are talking about, let me just state that you cannot use your Sprint iPhone in Russia.

- You would have to return the iPhone to the place you bought it, or sell it to someone in the US. I can't advise you how to sell it; that's something you'll have to figure out for yourself.

This is why it's often a bad idea to purchase a phone in a country other than your own.
