Wow. i called ATT to have my main number changed and it deleted all my fiance's contacts. ATT says it is icloud bs. I don't see how this is possible since I had to set up two different icloud accounts because she was getting all my text and pictures (even though I was the main account) I come here looking for answers and see dozens reporting the same problem but not a single answer from apple. Roll over in your grave Steve because apple has a worm in it. I think I be going with someone other than ATT and Apple for my next phone.

Look everyone, if you didnt get an icloud or itunes backup, then your right your info is lost, and its your own fault, those things are there because stuff happens. If you think android will be better when its also at the mercy of carrier mistakes, and has no failsafes

Goto Settings, iCloud then select contacts off, then back on. Mine showed up in a few mjnutes.

I have removed and re-added my icloud account 6 times and I still cannot get my contacts back on my phone. I checked iCloud and the contacts are there. This update just won't make the connection to my contacts.

I really hate these updates, I had the same problem when I updated to iOs7. I had to wipe my whole phone to get this fixed last time. This is ridiculous! My contract is just about up and I'm seriously thinking of abandoning Apple. I need help getting my contacts back and removing the iCloud and adding it back in has not been a solution for me!
