Not sure what your question is. Have you actually looked at the options in the notification settings on the phone?

Try actually looking at the notification options. If you turn off "Show in Lock Screen" for an item, then it will not wake th display for notifications from that app.

I did *not* ask for jailbreaking info. I *know* how to achieve my goal with jb. ToS does not forbid me to mention it. And yes, I've read it entirely. You might think 2.8.2 applies but I did not ask for ways to workaround digital rights.

I am afraid your recommendation will disable notifications which is not what I want. I hope I clearly stated I only want to prevent display wakeup WITHOUT losing any other function.
You did specifically ask for information on jailbreaking in the message you posted that was deleted by the moderators for violating the terms of service.
If you want to cop an attitude, figure it out yourself.
Try reading the manual.
Go to Settings>Notifications
Tap each app listed. Scroll to the bottom and turn off "View in Lock Screen". This will not disable the notification, it will keep the notification from showing up on your locked screen.
I WANT the notifications to show in lockscreen. I only want the screen to NOT WAKE UP for showing the updated notifications.
It doesn't work that way. Sorry. It will wake the screen for a few seconds to show the notifications in the lock screen if you've selected that option. That's the way it is.
Anyone knows how to prevent notifications display wake without jailbreaking?
