ACH or Wire Transfers - Canadian vendors

I am trying to confirm how Apple makes payments via iTunes Connect

The documentation states that payments are made by either ACH or wire transfer. The latter is very expensive while the former is the standard used thoughout the USA

Can anybody confirm if Apple makes payments via ACH to Canadian based vendor (and Canadian basec banks) or is anything outside of the USA done via wire transfer only?

good news (which took me over a week to sort out)! iTunes will make direct payments (electronic transfers) into Canadian banks in Canadian dollars. (Normally, a 'foreign' company cannot make direct payments to a Cdn bank.) iTunes simply sends the money (internally) to their Cdn operation, which converts it to Cdn dollars, and does the direct transfer. So, you don't need a U.S. dollar account or a bank account in the U.S.
