I have been having problems with the music content on my iPhone and I have been advised to erase the content and then back it up from my computer. I am not sure how to erase content from my phone can anyone help.

If you just want to delete the music off your phone, go to settings - general - usage - music - click on it and then swipe left to right (or vice versa) and then delete.
Then you can resync your music with itunes.

If i want to delete all my music to start over, that is 800 songs to delete ... only way i can see is to do this one by one. Please help, i have some older songs (~700) from my kids from years ago and i want to delete those songs so that i can keep the songs i have purchase more recently. Any help is appreciated.
