It depends on what "apple credit" you're referring to. If you are referring to an iTunes gift card, redeem it as RoamingGnome said. See this article for full instructions:

If you're referring to an Apple Store card, you cannot use that in the iTunes Store.
If neither are what you mean, please explain further.
