Connecting MacBook Air to TV
I have a Mini Display Port that connecgts to the computer to an HDMI cord and plugs into the TV. Is this the correct set up to transmit the computer screen onto our tv?

...if the TV's HDMI input is good for use with PCs, Macs, that sort of data signals (not only video like from DVD players and stuff). Unfortunately, most TVs aren't good for that. Check its manual first on how to connect what they usually refer to as "PC".
