How do I get my airport extreme to flash a green light

Is this a new Extreme?

Have you used AirPort Utility, and did you follow the instructions for resetting your modem?

It is not a new extreme, but I changed internet providers so it's a new modem

Use AirPort Utility. It will tell you the reason for the blinking light. This can occur for a number of reasons.
