I cannot connect my new iPhone 5 to Apple TV.

I can connect with wife's 4g but I cannot mirror or use the Remote app. I called support once and they told me to change router channels, which did not work.

My Apple TV is turned on and I cannot use the remote. When I double click home button and slide right to mirror, it does not work. Please assist. Thank you.
