It worked like a charm!

If you use hand cream it will build up and cause a loss of capacitive contact, or where jewelry this can cause issues.
Windex may be a bit too strong, and cause problems.
You can clean it with eyeglass foil packed cleaners, the type for glasse with coatings ( available at walmart, cvs, etc,, They have very little moisture, wipe around the pad, pressing down around the edges to clean it. Make sure that the computer is turned off, and the power supply is disconnected. Use sparingly, and allow a couple of hours at least to dry completly.
