Is there a way to make calls without my cell number being displayed?

Yes but I think it is carrier specific. Get with your carrier and find out how to do it.

Sure, go to Settings - Phone - Show my Caller ID = Off
Well I don't have the show my caller ID in settings > Phone. It is carrier specific. I have sprint.
