Jan 11, 2013 12:02 AM in response to hopesoby Roger Wilmut1,★HelpfulUse spotlight to search for .cwk and click the 'File name' button (rather than 'Conctents'). It presumably won't find any files which don't include the extension in the visible name. Once you have a list click the top of the 'Kind' column to group the actual files together.

Jan 12, 2013 1:24 PM in response to Roger Wilmut1by hopeso,Hi Roger,
I tried your suggestion "Use spotlight to search for .cwk and click the 'File name' button (rather than 'Conctents'). It presumably won't find any files which don't include the extension in the visible name. Once you have a list click the top of the 'Kind' column to group the actual files together."
I don't find "file name" in spotlight after putting in .cwk. And I don't see any "kind" column.
Need more guidance.
Thanks,
David

Another thought. I've read that Apple Pages can open ".cwk" items so they can be saved into another format. Is that true?
I have a lot of ".cwk" items and I'd like to save many of them.
Thanks. -
Jan 19, 2013 11:34 PM in response to hopesoby Roger Wilmut1,★HelpfulPages can open AppleWorks 6 (not 5) Word Processing documents only: Numbers can open Appleworks spreadsheets; Keynote can open AppleWorks presentations.
Draw Documents can be opened directly only in EazyDraw (the more expensive version from their website, not the cheaper one from the Mac App Store, and you will need v4.0 'Retro' not the most recent version) or Intaglio (though this appears not to be able to handle very complex drawings).
Nothing will open databases or Paint documents.
