I'm using Battery Doctor and it says that my iPod touch 5's RAM is 27mb

Hi and please help! I opened ClayJam (3D game) and it crashed. I opened it multiple times and everytime I play it the app crashes. So that got me thinking, I opened Battery Doctor and it says that my iPod touch's RAM is 27mb I re-checked and re-checked it again and I got 25-50mb. Is that why apps with high graphics crashes on my iPod? Please tell me what to do? I really want to play games fluently!

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.1, iPod touch 5th generation

Do you think it's the apps fault (Twitter also crashes when I'm excessively using it)? If yes why do Battery Doctor keeps on telling me that my RAM is low? Also, what should I do to make the RAM higher>

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

THANKS!!! I deleted a few apps and photos and I also cleared my history and when I opened Battery Doctor it said that I have 300+ RAM left! 🙂 Thanks again!
