Can't connect iPod Touch 5 to WiFi w security

So I got my iPod Touch 5 yesterday and love it! But I have run into a little problem with my WiFi...

I have WiFi at home with security, don't remember if it's WEP, WPA or WPA2 but it worked perfectly.

At work, we don't have WiFi so I thought I could use the WiFi Hotspot on my BlackBerry 9900.

I started it and connected with the Touch and all was fine, until I tired to go online and it didn't work (not browser or apps). I disconnected and tried again, I also tried "reset the network", now I only got a message saying "Unable to join the network The Outernet". (password is correct)

I then tried all combos, WPA/WPA2 Personal, WPA2 Personal, WEP and None (no security) on both 802.11g (which Apple says works) and 802.11bg but only got it to work with None and 802.11g, meaning no security and everyone can connect to my WiFi. 😟

Why can't I use security on this WiFi when it works perfect with my WiFi at home?

(I check so the hotsopt signal works with security and it does, at least on my other BB.)
