Ipad cannot find epson xp405 printer

Everything looks great but the ipad continues to say no air printers found

It should be AirPrint compatible. You might want to go through the information here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356 . I could be a matter of simply updating your printer's firmware.

I don't have an Epson. I do have an HP AirPrint printer. There was a wireless setup assistant that I had to go through and install. Did you do that on the Epson?

You can check and see if there is a firmware upgrade for the printer on the Epson website. Try restarting the printer as well.
