If you go to Settings > Music > Itunes Match (OFF) you should be able to sync your music via itunes
Thanks for helping.
That's for the ios devices, I know that already.
I'm trying to diable it on my iMac...
From the Store menu > Turn off Itunes Match
:-) thanks!
Would you be willing to share what you didn't like about Match? I logged on today to see what people are saying about it, as I'm considering using it.
Keep in mind this is a forum for people who are having problems so this may not be the best place for you to get other's opinions from.
nf207 here are some of my complaints. So glad my subscription has expired. iTunes Match was nothing but a headace and a nusiance.
- Play Counts are not counted correctly (if at all), same goes for Last Played info
- Smart playlists don't update
- About a third of my music in the iTunes Store but not purchased there was not matched
- Many songs that were purchaed in the iTunes Store didn't get the sound upgrade to 256k
- 15 of my songs got hung up matching and were still hung up months later and after multiple tries
- No synch management via cord AT ALL with iTunes Match turned on
- it doesn't really stream tracks but downloads them in the background taking up valuabel HD space
- With the update, we lost the ability to download a single song, it's full album or nothing
- Artwork was lost or mismatched on hundreds of tracks
- Even with the service turned off I get a warning most every time I add a song to a playlist that said playlist will be removed from iCloud
I hate Imatch, too. Thirty bucks down the drain. It's nothing but a hassle. Other than the fact that it's confusing, annoying, and doesn't work right, it's lovely.
Perfectly said! :-)
Good news. I called apple customer service, which transferred me to technical support, which is giving me a refund.
I called and after a few hours of them unable to solve the "my never before seen" problems the refunded my money as a very rear one time exception.
