Is anyone else having trouble connecting to wifi?

My problem started yesterday. WIFI is available but an error keeps popping up "unable to connect" It's happened on my ipod touch (4th generation) & my iphone 4s. I haven't had an recent updates. WIFI just wont connect. I've researched the problem and all solutions that I've seen on the internet are not helping me. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on the router

- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar

SInce it happens with both devices I suspect a router problem.
