printer not working

My Epson printer stopped printing, so I installed a new one, and it's also not printing. The problem seems to be with the Mac. When the print preview comes up, it shows a blank sheet of paper instead of what I'm actually trying to print. I've tried deleting the printers and reinstalling them and restarting the Mac. What else can I do to troubleshoot?
